Born in 1906, he lived on 252 Berry Street in Hackensack until June 20, 1956.

E. Frederic Morrow graduated Hackensack High School in 1925. He was on the debating team
for three years and in his senior year he was captain. He graduated from Bowdoin College and
Rutgers University Law School .

July 10, 1955, appointed to President Eisenhower's staff. He became the first black
person in history to have served a United States President in an executive capacity.
